Marrakech, the High Atlas and Essaouira in nine days
Riad courtyards, mule paths under snow-dusted peaks and a breezy Atlantic port — a heat-aware route with a driver instead of a rental car.

Marrakech at the right hour
The medina is magical early and late, exhausting at midday — especially from late spring. Explore souks in the morning, retreat to your riad's courtyard after lunch, and return for the square's evening theatre.
Two nights in the High Atlas
Roughly ninety minutes by car, Imlil sits beneath North Africa's highest peaks. Walk with a local guide between Berber villages, eat tagine on a rooftop, and sleep in cool mountain air. Snow can linger on high trails into spring.
Essaouira's sea breeze
A drive of roughly three hours brings you to the Atlantic, where trade winds keep Essaouira cooler than the interior. The ramparts, fishing port and relaxed medina make an easy ending.
